Challenge:
The Cruise the Falls event came to
Web Spinners™ in need of an accessible, yet central place of communication regarding future events (i.e. a web site). As well, the organizing committee requested help with the details for their sizable, yet somewhat unconventional, conference style event.
Solution.

Profile:
Cruise the Falls is a two year old annual event, where enthusiasts of Daimler-Chrysler's PT cruiser meet in Niagara Falls for a weekend. For a relatively young, non-profit event, it has grown significantly in just the past year. The 2002 event, scheduled for June 21-23 is already sold out, expecting some 900 + attendees, resulting in over 450 PT's attending (up over 75% from the past year). Hailing from Germany to the United States to right here in Canada, the PT enthusiasts are an international crowd. The "Cruise the Falls" event endorsed and sponsored by Daimler-Chrysler and other large corporate organizations. The event has been shown to provide a promotional and marketing forum for new PT models, and PT Cruiser paraphernalia.

Solution:
Web Spinners™ began over a year ago with the creation and posting of a web site for the annual event. The next step involved customizing and deploying registration software to enable an efficient on-line registration system, while supplying periodical progress reports to the conference organizing committee. Overall, the 2002 Cruise the Falls event is on pace to an unparalleled success.
